Why Choose Me?

i'll tell you why

I was born and raised in New York. Well... Long Island to be exact and right after college I pretty much packed up everything I owned into a box and a duffel bag and moved to Las Vegas. I didn't know anyone in Vegas I did manage to line up a job that paid $9 an hour, not terrible for 2006. My parents put me up in an extended stay hotel for one month and said "figure it out."

Now I'm not going to sit here and tell you I did it all on my own. I made my FAIR share of mistakes that required a bit of help from my parents. However, many years later, I'm still here and going strong. I'm pretty sure that when I moved out here a few people back home were saying "I'll give him a month, TOPS!" But I digress...

Why am I sharing all of this with you? I think it speaks to my resolve and ability to adapt. A lot has happened since then... A LOT. A lot of lessons and self discovery. Friends came and went (as they usually do in Las Vegas) but one thing always remained... my desire to do... MORE.

No matter what I was doing I always asked myself "how can I do this better, faster, smarter."

I read books, watched videos, asked questions, made bad decisions, learned from them, got better and kept learning. I had a number of careers over my adult life. I blame it on my desire for more... If I felt like I had learned all I could about my role I would fight for a promotion or try to find a new one (even if no one thought I was ready for more... I knew I was ready.)

My first career path started at Abercrombie and Fitch. I was an "overnight manager" where my job was to lead a team of individuals who came into the store after closing to fold/hang/restock all of the merchandise. This was my first job as a manager and looking back on it now I realize I had no idea what I was doing. But it taught me a lot... Attention to detail, leadership styles, retail business subtleties, marketing, presentation... the list goes on. Every career I've chosen since has provided me a wealth of knowledge and experience and that was by design.

Finally, I'm at a point in my life where I can start sharing my experiences and knowledge. What better way to do it than through a consulting business. I've always loved sharing knowledge. I went to college to be a math teacher, which obviously didn't happen... But even the experiences I gained and lessons I learned through my pursuit of a teaching degree have proven invaluable throughout my life.

So why me? Why listen to me? I'll be the first person to tell you that I don't know everything, and there are a lot of business owners out there doing it better than me. So what makes me different? My mentality... My approach... My ability to figure it out... Once we agree to work together I get to work on building your business as if it were my own, I get In Your Business (LLC). I take the time to listen to you. I help you expand on YOUR vision of your company. I take on those things you don't want to, know how to, or just don't have the time to do. I can provide a fresh outlook that still fits into your vision of your business. I bring tenacity and professionalism. I cater my delivery in ways you can understand them. I truly care about helping you succeed.

Even if your just looking for someone to take care of your bookkeeping I wont stop there. I have this compulsion to go above and beyond. I will help analyze your numbers, identify where you may be spending too much or not enough.
